What an amazing diocese!  Last week we announced that we needed to raise $17,000 to purchase a new boat for the summer program at Camp Marshall.  Well I am happy to report that we managed to raise the funds we were seeking in only six days! WOW!

We are now turning our attention to Grace Camp and puting a new roof on Brewer Lodge.  Look to the informaiton below for additional informaiton.  

Help Make Grace Camp GO!

Grace Camp is a summer program for children entering grades 3 - 8 who have a parent(s) who is incarcerated.

This program is free of charge to the children who attend thanks to the time, talent and treasure from people all over our diocese.

Time:  There is no greater way to support this program than reaching out to a family.  If you know someone who is raising a child who is facing the challenge of one or both of their parents being incarcerated please make the time to print a brochure that you can give them. Others who may appreciate this information may include; a CASA volunteer, School Administrator, Social Worker, Teacher or friend.  For a printable brochure click here.  Remember, without the help of a great many people there is a good chance a child who needs a week in a setting committed to sharing God's love may never happen.  If you need more than a few brochures please e-mail me; campmarshall@qwestoffice.net and let me know how many brochures you need.  Also, pray about who you might talk to.  God may inspire you to visit with someone you have not thought of.

Treasure:  In 2012 we need to raise $14,500.00 to make this program a reality.  This is an especially great program for vestries or congregations to get behind.  To fund this camp 40 gifts of $365.00 need to come in.  Or for those who wish to make a partial scholarship of $80.00 only 182 gifts.  Large gifts are most welcome.  What is most important for the smooth operation of the camp is that the gifts come in prior to the summer season.

We also encourage gifts from organizations and businesses outside of the church who would wish to help with this camp. Our goal is to raise the funds we need for this program by mid April.  To make a financial gift right now click here, or send a check to; Camp Marshall, P.O. Talent:  Volunteers: (click here)  We also need volunteers to help with prayer support, driving  routes, counseling or even helping in the kitchen.  This is a program where all of us can make  difference.
