- The Diocese of Montana was one of 16 dioceses in The Episcopal Church that has grown in the past year.
- At its last meeting the Diocesan Council learned about a correction in the way the budget of the diocese is calculated. As a result, we are giving 40% of the asking/apportionment of The Episcopal Church.
- Mary Julia Jett, candidate for the priesthood, will be ordained deacon by Bishop Brookhart at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Times Square, New York City, on Feb. 6. She is a student at General Seminary in that city, and St. Mary's is the site of her field work assignment.
- Mark Friday evening, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25, on your calendars. This is the date of the first Ministry Skills Workshop for 2012. The site will be St. Peter's Cathedral. There will be a variety of class offerings, all of which are designed to strengthen the ministry of our churches.
- The schedule of summer camps is now listed on the diocesan web site. If you register before Dec. 31, there is a price break.
- The chairs of the diocesan committees met with Bishop Brookhart on Saturday, Dec. 10, to work out the goals and structures of each. They are: Christian Formation (the Rev.
