Work In Progress Report
If you access the work in progress report from the Reports section of PrintSmith, it now refreshes automatically. Since version 8.1.x, it refreshes every 5 minutes. Prior to this, it never refreshed and it was up to the user to refresh the window. Many users complained to PrintSmith and now with version 8.1.15, it is set to refresh every 15 minutes. This clearly shows that PrintSmith listens to it's users and makes changes based upon their input. Personally, I don't think it should have changed at all and if some users want it refreshed automatically, then I would suggest their be a preference that each user can dictate on the refresh rate (similar to the number of days a job is due). Just be aware, that if you use the WIP report and leave it open, it will refresh every 15 minutes now. |
Bar Code Scanners

Wireless Bar Code Scanners
Wireless Bar Code Scanners are ONLY available through myself. They are 100% guaranteed to work with PrintSmith and with the only exception of ending a job in tracker*, you don't need to be by the computer/workstation to use them.
This saves hundreds of dollars as you don't have to purchase additional workstations to use bar code scanning. The wireless scanners have a range of 100 yards and when out of range, will update PrintSmith once it gets back into range!
