Dear Friends and PrintSmith Users, 

Thank you for all of your emails "thanking" me for communicated with you and for giving you some tips on how to make PrintSmith more efficient in your business. I appreciate the nice words you send me.

I enjoy created this email blast, but I have to admit, I do it in ordered to gain new clients and make money!! I ask you to review your PrintSmith's operation and see if there are things you are not using. I can almost guarantee you that I will save you money with a 1 or 2 day visit. If you change just one or two items in PrintSmith and generate an extra $2,000 per year (or so), then my fees would be taken care!

 

The bottom line, let a professional like me look over your PrintSmith system and show you how to use it better and also show you how to fix errors. See below for more stories on how users were leaving money on the table when quoting!

 

As many of you are aware, the cost of having me visit with you for a day or two is well worth the money and effort. The information you get is well worth the investment and will pay off in just a few months.

Honestly, I make a few dollars on them (they sell for $200.00 and I pay shipping, so how much can I make), but I believe they are a necessity to run a smooth operation. #1 - Presses set up incorrectly
On a recent visit, I noticed that the presses were set up incorrectly. Although this shop was very profitable, on certain types of jobs, he was not competitive. This was due solely to the wrong set up. After we fixed it, he "closed" on more quotes then ever before.
  
Now he wished he had me in earlier to fix this! My fee was virtually paid for with just one additional order he received!
#2 - Ink Charges set up incorrectly
One users had his ink charges set up incorrectly. I do admit, it is difficult to understand ink charges and the manual is pretty much useless in the regard.
 
Using Report Writer, we calculated that he sold $2,000.00 LESS ink than he bought. We fixed the ink to better reflect the ink used on each job. This will lead to an additional profit of $5,000.00 year or $10-15.00 more per job! This additional profit paid for my trip plus some!
  
Now he wished he had me in earlier to fix this! My fee was paid for with just one change in a charge definition!

 

(Using Report Writer you can get a list of all ink used, plates used, boxes used, etc. and compare this to what was bought. Just one change could increase your profit significantly (and pay for my services).
Are all consultants the same, and why use me?
One would think that all consultants would be the same, however, I have heard through my 13 years as an Independent PrintSmith Consultant, that I am by far the best! It is probably true for the following reasons:
 
1) Prior to consulting, I owned my own printing company with 35 employees, so I know your business as well as PrintSmith! Would you trust your press repair with someone who can't print?
 
2) When you hire me for 2 days, you get 2 FULL days. I always schedule my flights for the next morning. Make sure you get for what you pay.
 
3) 13 years brings lots of satisfied clients -- all at any time and I will furnish you many references. I have also done many franchises as well.
 
4) Continued support after my visit -- email or call me, I will be there to help you out.
