Certified PROFI System Design? - Survey

Many of the basic errors found in networked systems are made at the design stage, indicating a need for additional training and certification for system designers and engineers involved with the specification, planning and design of modern control systems.

The idea is to cover some of the areas not currently covered by the existing certified training for Installers and Engineers, both PROFIBUS and PROFINET.

Please let us know if you think there is such a need and if you have any views on what such a course should cover.

Practical aspects of PROFIBUS in Process Seminar

I'm delighted to report on the success of our most recent seminar last week in Manchester, when nearly 50 delegates gathered to learn about the use of PROFIBUS and PROFINET in Process Automation.

"Excellent!" (several said this)

"Very good technical and practical content"

"Great PROFIBUS/PROFINET overview!"

"Very informative"

"Very well organised, good occasion to meet specialists"

"Gave a good introduction"

"Good short presentations and time to network"

- were just a few of the comments received.

The next opportunity to attend one of our process seminars will be in November at WWEM, Telford where we are presenting a half-day seminar on similar topics.
