Certified PROFIBUS training
The next opportunity to get certified as a PROFIBUS Installer will be 23rd April, with the Commissioning & Maintenance course the following day. Presently, there are several places available but these are often snapped up very quickly.
The next full Training Week at MMU commences 14th May. Designed to help candidates reach their fullest potential in just a week, the week covers the Certified PROFIBUS Installer course - which is pre-requisite, the Commissioning & Maintenance module, the newly-introduced System Design module and finally the Certified PROFIBUS Engineer Course.

Web-based training for PROFINET
PI (PROFIBUS & PROFINET International) is now offering web-based training for planning PROFINET systems. It is based on the PROFINET Planning Guideline, which supports PROFINET automation system planners. The user will be guided step-by-step through the planning process using example systems and other aids. The training focuses especially on topology, performance, network load, cycle times, assignment of device parameters as well as name and address assignments. The web-based training provides a new opportunity to convey information in a particularly descriptive manner, beyond what is possible with conventional teaching tools. It does not replace the certified training courses. The web-based training is available at:
