Keep the L.O.V.E Alive Behavior Express Tour
 Do you have a pet behavior problem to solve? Ceva Animal Health, makers of Feliway® and Adaptil,™ has partnered with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists(ACVB) to help. The Keep the L.O.V.E. Alive Behavior Express Tour 2012 bus will travel 12,500 miles and stop in six cities for a free pet fair. Each pet fair will feature board-certified veterinary behaviorists available to answer pet owner questions, educational booths staffed by local veterinarians, shelter booths with adoptable pets, and free giveaways from Ceva. The tour will stop in Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo on August 11th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Check out their website for more information about the tour.

Myth Busting Heat Stress in Pets
 I won't go into too many sad details, but the severe heat has taken a literal toll on the lives of some pets. Most of the people I meet understand that leaving a dog in a car AT ALL will be fatal. For those that don't, many people rightly remove the dog or call the police who do have the authority to remove the dog and press charges. Hot Dogs and Hot Cats - Prevent Summer Boredom
 This summer has had hotter and very humid days than what we typically see in Central Illinois. Even with air conditioning, pets are stressed by the heat.
