May Mixer at Historic Pinney House
 The May Chamber of Commerce Mixer, hosted by Smith Asbury, Inc., will take place at the historic Pinney House, 225 N. Lima, from 5:30 to 7pm on Thursday, May 20th. Enjoy a brief presentation on the history of this magnificent structure, built in 1887, which once was the Hotel Sierra Madre, and which was featured in films such as The Seven Lttle Foys, starring Bob Hope and "The Great Mans Lady" starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, and Brian Donlevy. Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beverages, beer and wine. Door prizes will be awarded. Cost to attend is $7 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Don't Miss the Opportunity to Promote Your Business at the Mt. Wilson Trail Race
The Community and Personnel Services Department will be creating 350 bags of goodies to be given to the entrants in the race. Sierra Madre businesses are encouraged to offer promotional merchandise (key fobs, pens, refrigerator magnets, flash drives, any item of value you use to promote your business) and/or coupons to be inserted in these bags. Please note, promotional literature is encouraged ONLY if it includes some type of coupon or discount offer. Bring your promotional items to the Chamber of Commerce, or drop them off at the Recreation Center by noon, Tuesday, May 25th. |
