Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce
Weekly E-Newsletter
Greetings!

Well, it's getting to crunch time for the Wistaria Festival.  We could use help from our members.  Please see the articles below...
Chamber Members Needed to Contribute to Wistaria Festival
Wistaria logoThe Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce puts on the Wistaria Festival annually with the help of many residents and member volunteers.  Since this is the event that produces much of the revenue that pays the Chamber's bills, it is especially important that Chamber members pitch in and help ensure the event is a success.

The docent positions at the vine are all staffed, however we still have many positions to fill staffing the ticket booths, the Chamber member promotion booth, manning barricades, and setting up and tearing down.  We also could use some outgoing people to work as bus docents.  Do you have a couple hours you can pitch in to help make this event a success?

An added bonus - If you work at the Chamber member promotion booth, while helping educate people about Sierra Madre and the Chamber, you can promote your own business at the Wistaria Festival - without having to pay for booth space!!  Of course, top priority is responding to questions about the town and the Chamber, but you're in the bully pulpit the whole time you're working the booth.  Call the office today to sign up for a shift.
Chamber Member Information Booth is a Free Advertising Opportunity For Your Member Business - Just for Being a Sierra Madre Chamber Member!!!  Wistaria logo

The Chamber member information booth is an outstanding opportunity for Chamber members to promote their business to the thousands of folks who attend the festival (the estimate of last year's crowd was thirteen thousand people!).  And there is no charge for this, all you need is to be current on your dues.  Bring us your flyers, your brochures, key fobs, refrigerator magnets, whatever promotional items you use to promote your business.  We'll put them on display at the Chamber information booth, available to everybody walking by.  And while you're at it, why not sign up to work a shift, so you can answer any questions people might ask about your business?  Who knows your business better than you?  Remember, this opportunity is a benefit of being in the Sierra Madre Chamber, and is included in your annual dues.
