Spring Has Sprung
This weekend (March 22-25) is your last chance to see Stasha Surdyke as Amanda, playing to rave reviews in Private Lives at the Grove Theater Center in Burbank, CA.

On the "other" coast, the Noël Coward Festival is in full swing in New York from now through August 18, 2012.  Want to know what's happening and where? See below for a comprehensive list, provided by NCS North American Director, Ken Starrett.

Can't fit in a trip to NY?  Just released in conjunction with the festival: an exceptional book (with extras) about Coward, inspired by the exhibition Star Quality.

Starring as the dueling lovers Amanda and Elyot are Stasha Surdyke and Lenny Von Dohlen. Co-starring as their new spouses, Sybil and Victor, are Annie Abrams and Jeff Witzke. Louise, the maid, is played by Angie Light.  Coward Society member Surdyke is also co-producer of Private Lives.

"Director Jules Aaron has assembled a gifted cast that keeps the tone light and the dialogue properly aerated... Stasha Surdyke and Lenny Von Dohlen capture the drawling sophistication of their characters in crisp Cowardian style."   - The Los Angeles Times, F. Kathleen Foley

"Private Lives works to perfection when properly cast. In the latest revival by Table For Two at GTC Burbank, Jules Aaron has assembled a superior ensemble that mesh together like clockwork...Lenny Von Dohlen (Elyot) and Stasha Surdyke (Amanda) are deliciously egomaniacal in every way. Jeff Witzke as Victor and Annie Abrams as Sibyl fit their roles divinely. Aaron's pacing is up, up, up and bright throughout. Shon LeBlanc's costumes are to die for. If you like your wit lyrical and lilting, look no further than to Noel Coward and to this well-conceived and executed production of Private Lives."  -  BroadwayWorld, Don Grigware
