presents a weekend of events celebrating the Master in many of
his manifestations!
Hay Fever - Friday, June 26 at 7:30 PM Peace in Our Time - Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 PM Easy Virtue (the Play) - Sunday June 28 at 5:00 PM
Antaeus will host a reception after each reading, including a cabaret on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are STRONGLY recommended, as there is limited seating at each event and reading!

Join Antaeus as dozens of young, upcoming professional actors perform 3
staged readings, brought to life by three young directors, all mentored by noted,
seasoned professionals. THE YOUNG IDEA Project extends its reach to new
young audiences - offering a group of 16 - 25 year olds their first
exposure to Coward's droll, witty and enchanted world. Mentors
include noted Australian actor and Coward expert Barry Creyton,
acclaimed British film and theater director Jonathan Lynn along with L.A. favorite Coward aficionado Art Manke!
This special weekend
features familiar Antaean faces - each leading workshops and
roundtables on Coward The Man, The Crooner, The Spy & The
Playwright- meet the amazing Antaeans Nike Doukas, Harry Groener,
Christina Pickles, Kitty Swink, and others as they teach young
professional actors all their trade secrets about the man and his work.
After every performance, guests can stay and mingle, and even sing
cabaret songs!
Tea and British treats will be served throughout
the weekend - come and go as you please! Meet the artists, find out
more about Noel Coward, see three fabulous Coward plays.

The Antaeus Company, L.A.'s Classical Theater Ensemble, has a 15
year history of providing quality classical theater in Los Angeles.
Through productions, readings and workshops; educational outreach to
the community and acting training programs for young professionals, the
Antaeus mission remains steadfast and simple: To keep classical theater
alive in ourselves and in our community.
With a broad range of
age and ethnicity, Antaeus members and board includes over 100
professional actors, composers, designers, translators, playwrights,
and directors, including Oscar and Tony award nominated and winning
actors, as well as countless L.A. Weekly, L.A. and NYC Drama Critics
Circle, Ovation, and Backstage Garland award recipients.
