February 2010 newsletter - still pretty chilly up here ... minus 9 this morning!

Hello

Forgive me for being a bit obsessed with our weather - but, honestly, look at it.  I took the children for a blissful day's skiing at Glenshee last week (look closely at the photo and you can see skiers on the face).  It's still half term for us and so we're off again tomorrow with a bit of luck - thank goodness for wonderful Kitty holding things together in the office!

Nightmare week on the website front.  Our website hosts hold the data on three servers (back up to the back up to the back up) and this week two out of the three crashed.  Potential disaster.  The upshot, after a bit of panic, was that the system was rescued but we lost all the data for two days of business - orders, products, you name it, so forgive us if service is not quite up to standard this week and congratulations to the customers who managed to buy at reduced prices which shouldn't have been!

We're exhibiting at the Right At Home Show at the SECC Glasgow next week - from 5-7 March.  Love to see anyone who's visiting - we're on Stand 319B.

Lovely stuff below - new cushions, an amazing offer on our leather tote and lots of new vintage.

Until the next time ...

Two fabulous new cushions in our versatile natural Scottish linen
Linen cushions

Our natural Scottish linen is, unsurprisingly, proving very popular and so we're adding to our range of matching cushions.  New this month on the website are these classic piped cushions.  They come either self-piped or contrast piped with Oyster linen.   Watch this space - the Oyster linen will be available by the metre shortly.

£26.00 each includes cushion pad

Snap up 'Eleanor' at an incredibly low price ...

This Spring we are introducing a new design for our popular 'Eleanor' tote - which means that we are offering the last remaining bags at this ridiculously low price.  There are only three bags left, two with a wonderful William Morris lining and one with taupe and cream French ticking.   As anyone who owns one will tell you, they are fabulous bags with a multitude of uses - perfect for travelling or as a briefcase, we have even sold them as baby changing bags!

Unrepeatable price:  Were £145.00 NOW £75.00

We've got more Vintage goodies in store this month ...
