Friends of CMT,

13 LogoFirst things first - Thank you for a Wonderful 2009 Summer Season.  We had a blast working with our casts, putting on fantastic performances and entertaining everyone who came to see our shows!  Each year we are amazed at the determination, professionalism and quality that our students bring to the stage and this year topped them all.  Make sure you come out to see Peter Pan and experience the magic that is Musical Theaterworks in Fresno.

Each year we toil over what the best shows will be for our students, alumni and local actors. This year we have chosen really exciting titles from Hair in the spring to White Christmas in December.  Check out below to see what we are bringing to the stage.

This year we are trying something new for Halloween.  Our costume designer, Kirsten McGrath is opening the CMT costume shop for Halloween rentals.  Read her story below to find out more.

CMT/MTF is nothing without the support of its audience members, students and community.  Stay tuned in October when we will be starting a donation campaign.  It costs over $500 to put an actor on our stage and sadly ticket prices can not cover that cost.  In order to continue bringing our "Broadway Style" productions we will need your help.

Thank you,
Children's Musical Theaterworks/Musical Theaterworks Fresno

Fresno Arts Council

We are pleased to announce that CMT/MTF was selected as part of the Fresno Arts Council grants for 2009-2010.  Without the support of organizations such as the Fresno Arts Council, Bonner Family Foundation and KVPT, Children's Musical Theaterworks would not be able to provide high level of performances that we have.

Please take a moment to find out what the Fresno Arts Council is about and visit their website here.  Also take the time to support all of the other local companies that help make CMT a successful organization.
