Good morning from sunny Vancouver!
It has been a great stretch of good weather and I think we deserve it after the July we had. It's a very busy week with everyone busy getting the kids back to school etc.
This morning the Bank of Canada did not move prime rate and they even hinted that prime will stay were it is or even drop in the future. To see my commentary click video below;

Allison and I are leaving on a long overdue vacation this Friday. We are going to New York for a family party and then off to Holland for a week to visit relatives. We then have stops in Bruges, Paris and London! We will be back October 3rd.

What's Mortgage Dave been up to?
I just spent a lovely 4 day long weekend out on our boat at Gambier Island. Swimming, sailing, fresh crab etc. A great end to the summer that almost wasn't.
Allison and her horse Sailor entered their first Eventing competition last weekend at the Island 22 Horse Trials. This is different from her normal Dressage as it is three events over three days; Dressage, Cross Country and Stadium Jumping. Allison and Sailor tied for first, winning second place after the tie breaker. A great showing in a field of 23.
