The Gift of T.I.M.E.

Before the holidays, there is constant running here and there trying to get everything done.   Few people take the time to sit and listen to the birds outside, catch the breath of fresh "cold" air, listen to music of choice while enjoying the notes, curling on the sofa with a favorite book!   Time is so important no matter what day or year it is.  God designed it so that we all have the same amount of time, each day, each week, year after year.

I have worked with volunteers since the mid-1970's.  I enjoy watching them express themselves with their many talents.  They love to give back!
They love to volunteer: keeps them busy, makes them feel good about themselves, and it keeps them "young."  Time doesn't seem to matter.
They are having F.U.N:  a "Fantastic, Unique, and New" experience daily.

Mission Central is blessed with many volunteers of all ages from little ones, teenagers, college-career, and "grown-ups."  Their laughter constantly fills the air and their enthusiasm is contagious.  One volunteer told me that no matter how old she gets, she will always be young at heart.

The acronym for T.I.M.E. is talent, initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm each day.   God promised us with John 10:10:  I am come that thou might have life, and that thou might have it more abundantly."  Cherish each day that God gives for "time" is precious with loved ones, families, friends, and colleagues.

Time flies at Mission Central with so much to do and volunteers working hard to get tasks done.  They are consistent in sharing their time and talents.  They come week after week.   The abundant joy they share provides the wonderful atmosphere at Mission Central:  Never dull or boring!   What a beautiful gift God has given:  The gift of T.I.M.E.
