We know that channelizer posts properly direct traffic and reduce the chance of accidents. Pexco, Davidson's FG 300 posts are highly visible posts that clearly delineate driving lanes with bright colors and reflective sheeting.

But, did you know that Pexco has several base options for their posts? Each base offers a unique solution for channelization needs.

FG 300 Surface Mount, Lite Black Base and Heavy Duty Colored Bases

Yellow FG 300 and Base The FG 300 Lite Black Base is a standard surface mount base with quick release pins for all of your general purpose applications. It mounts easily with butyl pads, epoxy or anchor bolts and mates with each of Pexco's 3 grades of FG 300 Posts, PE,

UR and EFX.

The Heavy Duty Colored Bases are made extra tough for your more demanding applications. They are available in colors that match the post for increased visibility.

Both base options allow for quick and easy replacement of the posts with the Pin Removal Tool. Watch the video for a demonstration!

The Metro Base is "Slimmer" for More Narrow Applications

The FG 300 Metro Base is designed for specific installations where space is at a premium. The 5.5" base is slimmer than the standard 8" round surface mount base and is ideal for curbs, narrow roadways, tunnels, ferry terminals, parking garages and barrier wall delineation.

The Metro Base also mates with all 3 grades of Pexco's FG 300 posts, mounts with glue or bolts and is available in 4 post matching colors: white, yellow, fluorescent orange and fluorescent green.

Need a Flush Mounted Channelizer?

The FG 300 Invisi-Base is a Great Solution!

The Invisi-Base provides a neat profile in applications where effective channelization is required without the height of a raised base or where posts need to be seasonally removed from the roadway.

In climates where channelizer posts need to be removed to accomodate winter snow plow operations, the Invisi-Base offers a quick process of removing the post and replacing it with a winter cover. This creates a level road surface allowing for snow plow operations.

Invisi-Bases are also desireable for use in areas with high pedestrian traffic such as airports, parking lots and garages.

In addition to the FG 300 Bases featured above, Pexco also offers two portable bases where posts will be moved on and off a roadway.
