Our 60th Year!
If you get Stranded in your car this Winter

· Tie a brightly colored cloth to the antenna and raise the hood of the car (if it is not snowing) as a signal to rescuers.

· Wrap your entire body, including your head, in extra clothing, blankets, or newspapers.

· Stay awake. You will be less vulnerable to cold related health problems.

· Run the motor (and heater) for about 10 minutes per hour, opening one window slightly to let in air. Make sure that snow is not blocking the exhaust pipe-this will reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

· As you sit, keep moving your arms and legs to improve your circulation

and stay warmer.

· Do not eat unmelted snow because it will lower your body temperature.

Hello-

As 2010 comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the year and some of the highlights at Pexco, Davidson Traffic Control Products. We were thrilled to launch some exciting new products and thank you for helping us make them successful in creating safer roads.

A Great Combination! The DP 200 Channelizer Post

and NEW Spinner Base

Channelizer posts save lives by properly directing traffic and reducing the chance of accidents in many kinds of locations. Our

posts are highly visible, day and night.

They clearly delineate driving lanes with bright colors and reflective sheeting. To reduce the risk of accidents, place durable

polyurethane channelizer posts at critical points along your roadways where safety hazards exist.

The Spinner Base for the DP 200 provides a quick, flush-set mounting system. Install the anchor cup into new asphalt or drill and epoxy into existing pavement. With a few quick spins the post is in place.

High Performance Channelization with the NEW  Turnpike Grade Curb System
Turnpike Grade Curb Icon

The FG 300 Turnpike Grade Curb system is a raised lane separator with durable upright channelizer posts. It provides efficient and cost effective channelization of traffic on Managed lanes, 2-way, 2-lane Work Zones and other areas where discontinuous channelization is required.

This tough and low profile curb has a low impact roll over and eliminates vehicle vaulting. It's designed for high speed and high volume applications where continuous curb is too costly or not needed. The Turnpike Grade Curb System  has been impact tested at 70mph at TTI and is NCHRP 350 accepted.

This post and curb system are perfect for use in higher speed areas to create a continuous wall, in HOV & HOT lanes and dedicated toll lanes.
