October News!

eagle head
Each year the Simon Sharp Eagle Fund holds an annual fundraiser at the Fairview Inn to support the Blair E. Baton Children's Hospital and the Boy Scouts of America, Andrew Jackson Council. Traditionally the fundraising is done through a chef's dinner. However, this year we are switching things up and hosting an online silent auction, which will go live November 5! The link to the auction will be emailed to everyone
as soon as it is live.
The auction will boast incredible items generously donated by businesses in Mississippi and all funds will go directly to Blair E. Batson and BSA Andrew Jackson Council.
If you would like to get involved and donate an item that you believe will support our fundraising efforts, please email marketing@fairviewinn.com.

To learn why the Simon Sharp Eagle Fund was established or learn about Simon's story check out the video and visit the website.

Scarlet and Red Rumgardner are hosting their annual Red Rum Runner's Toys Masquerade Ball. Scarlet tries to keep things running smoothly, although there is a dead body at the bottom of the cellar stairs. An an unexpected and nosey Inspector Merlock Bones shows up to mess up the seating chart! All the usual suspects are in attendance for the party: Red's business partner, and college buddy, "Colonel" Kent Handle "the Mustard" bumbles his way through the evening while his pretty but "red"necked wife, Brooke Peacock fans her feathers for all who care to look. And what party would be complete without the Annual Accounting Report given by Cecelia "CC" Whiteice? We hear Red's Rum is just to die for!
**Recommended for mature audiences.

Guest Room of the Month

third floor suite
Robert, one of the Fairview Inn ghosts, loves to hang out in this space. Guests often comment on hearing footsteps pacing in the night, the housekeepers get an eerie feeling in this room, and we have even connected with the ghost of Robert in this room, who is said to be a Civil War soldier.

Do you dare to stay in this cozy but said-to-be haunted space? Are these stories make believe or real? You be the judge.

This suite offers guests two Queen sized beds, a jacuzzi/shower combo, and sitting area.

Single occupancy- $199
Double occupancy- $219

Room rate includes full southern breakfast, complimentary wireless internet access, and a guaranteed fun time in efforts to "connect" with the "other side."
