The type of artwork determines how it will be framed. A canvas is framed very differently than a print on paper. You can get away with just stretching a canvas, but a frame will make your canvas look richer. Canvases are not glazed nor do we place a mat on canvases, so right there is a cost savings to you. Framing prints can be very exciting. There are many options within the style you select. Traditional, Modern, Eclectic......don't be afraid to mix and match!!! That's where our skilled design staff excel. We will guide you through the process and show you the possibilities.
Now while it is a good thing to think outside the box, there are limits. Here is where you need a professional's "Touch". The subject, era, style and color scheme of the items being framed should always be factored in. When each of them is carefully considered, the resulting frame design is more likely to be in sync with the art.
 There is a time and a place for you to be daring and a time to be period correct. Typically any historical art, documents and artifacts are framed to look authentic to their period and purpose. On the other hand, If a new piece of art was painted in an old world style, it may provide the perfect opportunity to update the look with a present day frame design.

Forest Grove UnCorked! August 21st, 2010
The City Club of Forest Grove has created an annual downtown event that promotes and celebrates the food, wine and micro-brew providers of our local communities. This event is intended to attract 750 to 1,000 adult wine, food and micro-brew enthusiasts annually and will include live music. Uncorked is dedicated to supporting a local charity through paid admission, sponsorships and other programs.
