 Greetings!

In this digital age we no longer sit on the couch and go through family photo albums with our family and loved ones.  Its not practical to congregate around a computer screen to look at pictures or slide shows.  Not to mention the challenge of getting everyone together at the same time.

What can we do? Create a "Rogue Gallery"!!!  Set aside a space on a wall for a gallery of family photos. The "Rogue Gallery" documents, and tells a story.  You can easily share with family and show off to friends.

In a "Rogue Gallery", pictures can be framed in different sizes and styles, but kept in the same color palate.  Keeping the same color palate helps pull the collection together, and the different framing styles makes it easy to add to the grouping.  This will enable you to strike a nice balance   You can also rotate and swap out photos just to keep your "Rogue Gallery" looking fresh and interesting.

Come in and talk to us for ideas.  We will be thrilled to be a part of your project.

Choosing the right frame is easier than you think!

Picking out the perfect frame Does Not have to be overwhelming. I promise you this!!!

As part of the design process with A Framer's Touch, we explain to you why certain frames, mats, colors, and combinations of that work best with your artwork.  There will always be more than one design combination that will accentuate your artwork. We do this to give you options.

The basics of the AFT Design Process is to provide an understanding of Color, Style, Finish, Scale and Placement of your art.  Let us guide you through this process, and make this an enjoyable experience for you.

Horse etching by Larry Harris

Here is why this frame works.

The color of the moulding ties in with the warm earth tones of the art. This frame balances out both the light and dark colors in the picture. The simple style of the frame  complements the simplicity of the etching without competing with it.  The burl finish on this frame flows well with the western feel of the art, keeping the overall style traditional.  The scale of this frame is proportionate with the overall size of the art.  This frame offers all of the basic elements of the art, allowing for multiple placement options.  Remember - Color, Style, Finish, Scale and Placement.

Stop by the gallery and see for yourself how this design works with the artwork.   - Kristen
