Bob Coronato
“Crow Fair is a nearly hundred-year-old tradition,” says Bob Coronato, “held each August for the reunion of family clans and the celebration of Crow Indian culture. I have attended Crow Fair for many years and I'm always impressed with the singing, the relay horse races and the thousands of tepees. The Crows fought governmental pressures to change, and as a result being at the fair is like going back in time, because their culture has been amazingly preserved. It’s uplifting and I look forward to it, year after year.”

New artist Karissa Chase |
Bright, fun and functional is the best way to describe the work of Karissa Chase. Karissa started potting in High School, right into Art College and has never looked back. Beginning with a whimsical addiction to painting cat food dishes, inspired by her own Tilly and Max, she was soon supplying pet stores all over the Great Southern Land. A true blue Aussie. After finding herself in America and without a potters wheel or studio, she eventually got hooked on small pinch pots with motivating muses. Five years in the USA and she's pinching, potting and painting a collection of bright and cheerful lovelies, whiskers and all.

Oregon artist Paul Strauch |
Some might say... "I should have known." An art major in college, I was in corporate advertising for 14 years. The business world gave me a lot, including good business practices. In 1990, I took time off from the corporate world and began dabbling with clay again. "Leo" sprang forth from my hands like a gift from beyond.
