April 2009                                                                    Volume 3 issue 4

 Greetings!

A Framer's Touch would like to thank every one who attended Dr. Paul Minor's artist reception on March 14th.  We had approximately 200 guests stop by to see Dr. Minor's collection and to meet "The Man" behind the camera.  We also want to thank Linda Minor who created the mood with beautiful music from her Celtic Harp.

The day was most enjoyable!!!

If you were not able to attend Dr. Minor's reception, the collection will be on display until Saturday April 18th.  Dr. Minor's guest book will also be available to well wishers until then.

In case you did not know, any one of Dr. Minor's panoramas can be special ordered in custom sizes.  Take a second look at your walls.

Thank you,
Kristen

Pssssst - A reliable source has informed us that Dr. Minor is working on the "Spring Edition" of his Susbauer Road panorama.  We just can't keep a secret....check back with us frequently for the latest!!!

I call my pieces "guilt-free glamour".  I feel good about using materials that  would otherwise be thrown away -- to make something beautiful, something reUNIQUE.

Earth Day

 April 22nd

A Framer's Touch carries  several lines of mouldings which are manufactured in an ecologically friendly and sustainable manner.

"Eco Friendliness" in picture framing can also extend to techniques and supplies used. The practice of Preservation Framing often requires the use of environmentally friendly materials.

In our small way we make it a habit to, donate useable scrap mats to schools, old or blemished frames to goodwill, and are diligent in recycling packing material.
