Life

Love life
Love helping
Love to care
Love the wind
Love the nature
Love adventures
Love good aura
Love doing the best I can

Gone by the wind
Nobody knows me
Nobody knows where I am
Nobody cares
Nobody loves me
But who cares as long as I care for others

I have dreams
I have goals
Nobody can stop me
I will get happiness

Youth create artwork at My Friend's Place through our Creative Arts Programs.  Students write poetry in our Writing Program conducted in collaboration with CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP).

Art on displayYouth Work Featured at Pasadena Art Show

In late 2009, five young artists from My Friend's Place were featured in the first annual Foster Care Project Art Show, a project of All Saints Church of Pasadena.  Each young person showcased at least one original piece created in an art workshop at MFP and received 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their art - and every piece sold!  Additionally, the youth were given the opportunity to enjoy a special artists lunch at California Pizza Kitchen.

Thanks to Diane Eisenman and the folks at All Saints for their work making this incredible opportunity available to the youth of MFP!
The mission of My Friend's Place is to assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.
