Jasmine is a flower
Silent while the wind howls
Peaceful as the rain falls
Optimistic as her petals drop to the ground
Jasmine is a flower
With roots as deep as the sea
With beauty as unappreciated as moonlight
And a smile as far as dusk
Jasmine is a flower
She grows 
Youth create artwork at My Friend's Place through our Creative Arts Programs.  Students write poetry in our Writing Program conducted in collaboration with CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP).
The mission of My Friend's Place is to assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.
