The time for you to act is now!  Commitment Sunday is around the corner and you have the opportunity to grow in your faith through the ministry of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church!
 
What better way to make a difference in the world than to participate in the ministry of Risk Taking Mission.  You'll find the opportunities listed below.  Continue to pray for the empowerment of the spirit in your life and the lives of others during this important time.

- Sponsoring monthly opportunities for Risk Taking Mission in hands on work around Wichita
- Good Sam Ministry
- Crop Walk walkers and workers
- Habitat for Humanity builds
- Provide Mission moments for the church family
- Food In Gatherings for Open Door Commodities
- Share the Warmth campaign for local elementary and middle schools
- Summer Vacation Bible School for Western Kansas Mexican American Ministries
United Methodist Women 
Womens' mission and education organization that empowers women to be in service and leadership to the church and greater world.
 
United Methodist Men
Men's mission and education organization that empowers men to be mentors and leaders within the church and the greater world.
 
Outdoorsmen Ministry
Mission organization for men of all ages based around interests in outdoor activities.
 
Yarn Ya Ya's
Gathering of women who consistently knit sweaters for children who are on need of warmth during the cold season. 
MITCH McVICKER CONCERT
 
Free concert by Mitch McVicker Dove-Award winning singer-songwriter. He recently released his Always Believe album September of this year. He previously toured with Rich Mullins and is a graduate of Friends University. Check out his website at www.mitchmcvicker.com
