Welcome to the "For the Love of God" Fair Week!
"For the Love of God" Fair continues this week in Fellowship Hall at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church! You have the opportunity to offer your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness through the many ministries of PV. Stop by and check out the opportunities to participate in each of the "5 Practices," in 2010.
Besides Radical Hospitality and Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development is how we commit ourselves to grow in our faith in Jesus Christ. Intentional Faith Development is putting yourself in a position to follow Jesus Christ so closely that you would get the dust of his sandles on you! In that spirit, you are invited to participate throughout 2010 in our many opportunities to study the scriptures, teach them or help organize and encourage others in their faith development.
Below, you'll find ways that you can offer yourself to Pleasant Valley in the ministry of Intentional Faith Develoopment. If you have other ideas please contact me.
Remember that those of you who did not receive cards in the mail are more than welcome to stop by and grab a card or two to utilize for commitment Sunday, November 8th. We're looking forward to a passionate service of commitment on Sunday that includes two important players; God and you!
