Eighty-five percent of our students come to us through a personal referral (word of mouth) from current Linfield parents.

We need your help in inviting non-Linfield families to our upcoming HS campus preview. 
Please invite everyone you can think of, that would benefit from having their children at Linfield. Consider your family's clubs, church, youth groups, and your Facebook friends. Come one, come all!

HS BASKETBALL SPAGHETTI DINNER & MIDNIGHT MADNESS
Midnight MadnessJanuary 7, 2011
Come help us celebrate the new basketball season and join us for some fun and excitement at the annual LCS Basketball Midnight Madness event. The evening begins with a spaghetti dinner fundraiser followed by a variety of other games and prizes. The capstone of the evening is the faculty-student basketball game.

This is a GREAT annual event open to all our students and their families.

ES JR. LIONS SOCCER CAMP - January 7, 2011 Sign-Up Deadline
Soccer CampJanuary 12-14, 2011
Sign your ES student up now for our annual Jr. Lions Soccer Camp. K - 5th grade boys and girls will be instructed by HS varsity athletes and coaches!

The deadline to register for the camp is Friday, January 7, 2011.

College Counseling
HS SAT PREP BOOT CAMP
SATThe High School Counseling Office will be hosting an SAT Prep Boot Camp for 11th grade students, on January 15, 17 and 21, 2011, who need just a little 'boost and review' in preparation for the January 22, 2011 SAT test. This is one choice in a full offering of SAT preparation options. Please contact the counseling office to discuss your student's personal testing plan.

Please join the pack to meet other Watch Dog Dads, hear their stories, and learn about the program. Bring your calendar and sign up for available Watch Dog shifts in the new year.

MS GEOGRAPHY BEE

The Linfield Middle School will be participating in the National Geography Bee competition and hosting Linfield's 11th annual geography bee finals on January 12, 2011 in the Linfield gymnasium at 10:30 am. Parents and friends are invited to attend.

Congratulations to our panel of finalists: Sam Kelley, Carson Scranton, Warner Scheibe, Carson Wernimont, and Christian Wingate. Our school champion will have the opportunity to test and hopefully move on to the regional round.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
Final Exam Week InfoJanuary 18 - 21, 2011
First semester finals will be held on both the MS and HS campuses Tuesday through Friday, January 18-21, 2011.  School is dismissed at 11:30 am each day.  Students must be in uniform to take finals, no exceptions.

Middle School yearbooks are on sale NOW. The "early bird" pricing of $45 is available through the month of January. Prices will increase to $50 on January 31, 2011.

HS WINTER FORMAL
Winter Formal 2011 DiamondsJanuary 22, 2011
On the evening of Saturday, January 22, 2011 Linfield High School students will be decked out in their finest for the annual Winter Formal dance. This year's theme is Diamond in the Rough. The dance will take place from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Diamond Club at the Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium. This event is a great chance for students to let their hair down and dance the night away with their friends!


HS WINTER MOUNTAIN
Winter Mountain 2010-2011January 25 - 27, 2011
Winter Mountain is our annual student retreat held in the local mountains at Pine Crest Conference Center. This event, for all HS students, is often the highlight of their school year!
