The River District
May, 2009 River District Supports Mayor's Challenge for Solutions to Homelessness
"What Can I Do to Help?"
This spring, Under Mayor Kevin Johnson's leadership, the Mayor's Homeless Task Force made great strides in addressing the immediate needs of homeless individuals in Sacramento.  He acknowledged that we still have a lot of work to do and he challenged the Task Force participants to continue working on solutions, asking us to consider the question, "What can I do to help?"

Businesses and residents in The River District see the impact of homelessness on a daily basis.  You are invited to assist us in becoming part of the solution.  This newsletter identifies some ways you can help.
