Boatswain's Turtle Farms - The Cayman Turtle Farm,

the first commercial venture to domesticate Green Sea Turtles begins. It is founded as Mariculture Ltd by Irvin Naylor, Henry Hamlin, Dr. Samuel Ayres III & Anthony G.A. Fisher with the blessing of and an exclusive franchise from the Cayman islands Government.

Cayman's largest land-based attraction, Boatswain's Beach hosts more than 500,000 visitors each year. Experience activities such as: Shark Talk at Predator Reef Window - Come join us for FUN and FACTS on sharks. Get the Real Story, and learn the difference between MYTH and THEORY. Predator Reef Feeding - Watch the hand-feeding of our nurse sharks from the Bridge. Then venture down to the Viewing Window for an exciting look as the Brown sharks, eels and others eat their fill. Tortuga Dive Charter is Morritt's leading full service dive charter. Tortuga Divers operates two dive boats allowing guests to experience the diverse and amazing underwater sites. Both dive boats are designed with a diver's needs and comfort in mind. The "North Wave" is a Newton 42-foot V-hull with 300-horsepower and a John Deere engine with a crusing speed of 20 knots. "Leatherback" is a 42' Newton and is limited to 16 divers. Water cooler, tanks, weights and belts provided.

The East End of the island is still relatively untouched by divers and offers pristine sites. The diving is typically around the inner fringing reef. The spur and groove formations here are more gently sloping than other areas on Grand Cayman. With a variety of sites including caverns and swim-throughs, coupled with abundant marine life, the East End offers something special for the adventurous diver looking for something different.

e Adventure. Promoted by cruise ship TV commercials, dive and adventure magazines, Stingray City has become the world's most famous shallow dive. Here, divers can feed, pet and play with the friendly Southern Stingrays. Divers kneel on the sandy sea floor while tame stingrays swirl around in search of food. As you stroke the smooth undersides of the stingrays, you'll understand why this memorable dive has made Grand Cayman famous. Departs from Rum Point for a (1) Tank Dive.
