 The Florida Keys is the backdrop for the most recent DMW Diveheart Military Wounded and Diveheart Disabled Divers trip June 22-27 and June 28-02 Veterans and Civilians with disabilities had the opportunity to experience and enjoy beautiful Key Largo underwater. DMW volunteers from Illinois and Florida came together to bring Veterans with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries), Amputee, Blindness, Quadriplegia, Tourettes, Cerebral Palsy, and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) to the beautiful reefs beneath the waves. DIVE BUDDY (BDT):
Certified SCUBA divers can learn to assist disabled divers both in the pool and open water as Volunteers take the Buddy Diver Training opportunity.
Next Class Date: Scheduled August 12-16 at Pro Dive to 6pm-9pm classroom sessions and the weekend from 8am-12pm pool sessions. Become a Dive Buddy (BDT) contact Instructor Worth O'Brien at info@aquanauts.biz for Broward County.

S.U.D.S. / W.W.P. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our disabled soldiers rehabilitate by teaching them an activity that is both rewarding and less physically demanding. They are funded by private donations and depend on our support.
