 No-Barriers Festival 2009 Experience the Fun and Education!
1) Shake-A-Leg Eco-Island Experience Activities (swimming and snorkeling, outrigger canoeing and stand-up paddling)
2) Shake-A-Leg Dock Experience Activities (sailing cruises and kayaking cruises)
3) Innovation Village Activities, such as: SCUBA Diving, Molly the Pony, Accessible Golf, Art in the Outdoors, Swim with Dolphins, Climbing Wall, and Technology Demonstrations.
4) World Renowned Speakers during evening programs: Aimee Mullins, Jesse Billauer and Kelly and Craig Perkins.

The Florida Keys is the backdrop for the most recent DMW Diveheart Military Wounded trip May 14-17 Veterans with disabilities had the opportunity to experience and enjoy beautiful Key Largo underwater. DMW volunteers from Illinois and Florida came together to bring Veterans with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries), Blindness, Quadriplegia and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) to the beautiful reefs beneath the waves. Many caring individuals, with a multitude of talents, have already exercised their skills to benefit the disabled community through DIVEHEART.
As a DIVEHEART volunteer you can unleash your creativity and lend your support in a variety of ways. Here are just a few examples of how you can become a friend of DIVEHEART.
DIVE BUDDY (BDT):
Certified SCUBA divers can learn to assist disabled divers both in the pool and open water as Volunteers take the Buddy Diver Training opportunity.
Next Class Date: Scheduled June 17-21 or July 15-19 at Pro Dive to 6pm-9pm classroom sessions and the weekend from 8am-12pm pool sessions. Become a Dive Buddy (BDT) contact Instructor Worth O'Brien at info@aquanauts.biz for Broward County.

S.U.D.S. / W.W.P. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our disabled soldiers rehabilitate by teaching them an activity that is both rewarding and less physically demanding. They are funded by private donations and depend on our support.
