Therapy Tips:
To get the most wear and best seal out of your CPAP mask, follow these tips:
- Wash your mask cushion or pillows daily with warm soapy water.
- Do not use soaps with added fragrance. Plain Ivory liquid soap or baby shampoo is recommended.
- Rinse well and allow the cushion or pillows to air dry. Do not place in direct sunlight.
- Weekly wash your mask components separately in warm soapy water, rinse and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight.
- Do not use the following solutions to clean your mask: vinegar, bleach, chlorine, rubbing alcohol, aromatics, moisturizers, antibacterial soaps/gels, or scented oils.
- Do not expose your mask to direct sunlight as the product may deteriorate.
- If visible damage is noticed, such as cracking or tears, replace the cushion/pillows or entire mask as needed.
- Headgear may be washed by hand and allowed to air dry.
