THIS WEEK'S CELEBRATIONS | |
Thanks to everyone for the great turnout at Baskin Robbins this week! WOW! What a wonderful night. Congratulations to the First grade, they won the $5 gift cards for ALL the class and teachers. 100% of the first grade class came to the event.
We are also celebrating the completion of our 2011/2012 yearbook. The yearbook was submitted to the printer on Monday! Yeah! It looks AMAZING! Thank you to the staff, teachers, parents and children who gave their time, their beautiful photographs and their creativity. |

CHANGES IN PRESCHOOL VOLUNTEER HOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR 2012/2013 | |
Beginning 2012-2013 school year a family with only one child in a 2-day preschool class must volunteer ten (10) hours per school term; a family with only one child in a 3-day preschool class must volunteer fifteen (15) hours per school term; a family with more than one student in the preschool, regardless of which preschool class they attend, must volunteer twenty-five (25) hours per school term.

CYO GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SIGN UPS | |
Registration is now open for Novato Christian Sports Academy's Marin CYO Fall Volleyball program! The 2012 season, comprising of two weekly team practices and matches played on either Saturdays or Sundays, will begin mid-August and conclude in late October. It's time to dust off your favorite bottle of wine and donate it to this year's auction wine cellar. We have a collection box in Fellowship Hall that you can place your wine in at any time or, we will be collecting before and after school on Friday, May 4th. You don't even need to get out of your car!
Invitations will be going out at the beginning of next week and will have the link to the auction catalog and registration. Register early for the dinner to confirm your spot.
Thank you to everyone for the amazing items donated to the auction this year. It is going to be a fabulous event. Get your computer mouse ready!

Tour of Novato is a yearly event to raise funds for Novato Schools. This year, the event has been expanded to include Good Shepherd! We are very honored to be the first private school included in this wonderful community building opportunity.
If you don't have time to join the walk or bike, check out the tour website and sponsor a friend!

2nd ANNUAL GENTLY READ BOOK SALE |
Save the date for The 2nd Annual Gently Read Book Sale. Thursday, Friday and Sunday May 24th, 25th and 27th and stock up on some summer reading!
It is this time of the year again to clean out your bookshelves and donate your gently read books to the school. We will be collecting books for all ages, preschool to adult.
Please drop off your books before Wednesday May 23rd. A drop off box will be located in the Fellowship Hall. The money we collect will be donated to Mrs. Betts art department for supplies.
