**  PLEASE NOTE: If your child is dropped off any earlier than 8:20, he/she will be signed in for extended care and you will be charged accordingly.  If you have any questions don't hesitate to call or email school office at school.office@goodshepherdlutheran.org.
 
** Come see our own Tammi Clark in "The Wizard of Oz" at the Civic Center's Showcase Theater this Sunday.  Shows are at 1 and 3 p.m.  Tickets are only $8 and can be purchased through the Civic Center box office.
 
** Information about the summer program for 2's thru entering 3rd graders can be found at "Space Camp".

How to Order a Copy
Thanks to everyone for your participation in our all school photo! Everything went so smoothly, everyone was wearing their navy and white, lots of smiling, happy faces.  We appreciate everyone's help in making it a really great photo!  
If you would like to order a copy, there were forms in last weeks Friday folder.  There are extra copies of the forms available, please check the drop box outside the office.  Forms are due by March 19th. The photo costs $20, all the details are on the form.

Help us reduce the clutter
To help reduce clutter, we will be combining all of our PA drop boxes into ONE box.  We will have separate folders for each event, blank forms, envelopes, etc.  We will have each folder labeled so you can easily find what you are looking for.   
The box will still be on the same table outside the office, for easy access. We will switch over to the one box starting Monday, March 12th.

35th ANNIVERSARY ART CONTEST
Deadline Extended to Monday, March 12th.
Drop off in Parking Lot
We have gotten lots of amazing entries for the 35th Anniversary Art Contest, thank you so much! We want to give everyone more time, so we are extending the deadline to 9:15 am on Monday.  
Drop off options:
  • Table at main campus parking lot from 8:15 to 9:00 (weather permitting ~ if it is raining, drop in box outside office)
  • Box outside the office
  • Box at the MS campus

We hope to have as many people as possible participate. It will really help to make it a special evening ~ surrounded by so much wonderful art!

GSLS 35th ANNIVERSARY POTLUCK DINNER 

RSVP due Tuesday

We are having an old-fashioned potluck to celebrate our anniversary. There are lots of fun plans for the night, don't miss it. All the details are on the sign up form below.   We have had lots of people asking if children are invited.  YES! Sorry we didn't include that in the original information.  The more the merrier! 
 
IMPORTANT! Sometime Monday or early Tuesday we will reach our capacity of 200 attendees. Please get your rsvp in asap.  When we reach 200, we will start a waiting list. We will send out an announcement when we fill up, and will include information on the waiting list. 
 
Cookbook: Don't forget, we are going to create a cookbook with all the wonderful recipes from the night.  If you would like to participate, send your recipe and a photo to Kim Stephens (email address below).  Any favorite recipe is welcome, it doesn't need to be what you bring for the dinner.  

 

New Information: 
  • On the night of the event, please bring your food with you at 6:00 when you arrive.  If you need to arrange an earlier drop off time, please contact Joanne. Please mark the bottom of your dish so we can be sure to get the container back to the right person. 
  • We will be in the parking lot Monday for drop off of art contest and rsvp forms (weather permitting ~ if it is raining, use drop box outside office)

ROAD RALLY (SCAVANGER HUNT)

Parent/Child teams will roll across Novato taking digital photos, following clues and strategizing the best routes to the finish. The team that produces all the required photos and completes the cross Novato route with the lowest mileage....wins! All teams must report to the pool area at Ricky's Restaurant by 2:00 p.m.

We will meet/start within the GSLS parking lot. Each car will be checked into the "Rally" with an assigned team number. Each team must have a digital camera and a working odometer within the car.

Entry will include two hours of fun and a BBQ Lunch at Ricky's. Winning teams will receive Gift Certificates from Ricky's and award winning Frostwatch wine. Entry Information.
