  • Kindergarten applications are now being accepted for Fall 2011.GSLS Logo Black
  • Know anyone that needs to enroll a preschooler this school year?  Give the parent's contact information to Cathy Timmer and you will receive $100 off one months tuition if the preschooler enrolls at GSLS.  Sent information to cathy.timmer@goodshepherdlutheran.org
  • Crossing Guard Needed: Volunteer or Paid Position.  Hours are Monday through Friday 8:15 to 9:15 am and 2:45 to 3:15 p.m.  Inquire in the front office.
  • Looking for a parent volunteer to update student information and maintain emergency shed/first aid supplies.  Contact school.office@goodshepherdlutheran.org
  • Grandparent's Day scheduled in December has been cancelled!
  • The school garden harvested a big crop of corn and potatoes this fall.  Check with your students to see if they tried the corn on the cob, roasted potatos (cooked by the first grade garden class), and potato leek soup, in the past two weeks.  It was delicious and there is something about growing it yourself!

Gift Wrap Pick Up

Elementary School Parking Lot             Middle School Parking Lot

 

The gift wrap team will be in the elementary school parking lot from noon to 3:30 for "drive by pick-up" service, as well as at the Middle School Campus at afternoon pickup. For parents of pre-schoolers that attend MWF classes, your gift wrap order will be stored in your child's classroom. Thank you for your support of this fundraiser and our school!

 

Volunteers are needed to assist with gift wrap distribution... if you are available on Tuesday, November 30th from noon to 3:30 pm, please contact Karen Taylor at karen.cft@verizon.net... Earn some volunteer hours, and have some fun!

Gold Rush Candy Sales

Fourth Grade is selling candy to help defray the cost of their gold rush trip.  They will sell See's candy in front of the school house gate from 8:30 to 9:10 every morning until December 17th or until they run out.  If it rains you can find them at the bottom of the elementary stairs.  Please come and support our fourth grade outdoor education.
