RESPONSIBILITY: Have you seen flyers around campus with responsibility written on them? That's because we are focusing on helping our students learn how to be more responsible. Parents, we encourage you to have a discussion with your children about their responsibilities at home, school and play. With your child, make a list of your children's responsibilities, along with the rewards and consequences of completing or not completing their responsibilities.
Thank you,
Susan Hall

GSLS Yearbook Committee Needs You!
We're thrilled to announce the creation of our first
GSLS Elementary & Pre-School Yearbook
For the 2010 - 2011 School Year
This edition will be separate and in addition to the fabulous GSLS Middle School Yearbook. We are thankfully under the creative direction of our very own Mrs. Betts, supported by a newly formed Yearbook Committee. It is sure to be an incredibly special keepsake of memories for our children for years to come!
How can you help?
- TAKE PHOTOS!
-
Capture all of the great memories of school events - whether classroom parties, Harvest Festival, Book Fair, Field Trips or even just everyday life on campus! -
We'll be posting details on how to upload your digital photo submissions & coordinating efforts by class!
- JOIN THE YEARBOOK COMMITTEE!!
-
We know you're out there... High School Yearbook Committee alumni that miss the thrill of photo selection and layout sheets!!! Join us as we create some yearbook magic, Elementary-style! -
We'll be looking for AT LEAST ONE PARENT VOLUNTEER PER CLASS to help us coordinate submissions and captions. - This is a perfect volunteer hour opportunity from home! After a to-be-scheduled kick off meeting, it can all be done over email & internet!
- Contact Joe Covert (jcovert@restorationhardware.com) for more details or to sign up!
Thank you for your support!

Father/Daughter Dance The first ever Good Shepherd Father/Daughter dance was a huge success for everyone. There were over 80 guests last Friday night. The room was rocking thanks to music supplied by the Farmer and Steil families and with the help of DJ Dillon and Vince. Tables full of yummy desserts were on hand due to the 6th, 7th and 8th grade families. Everyone who supported this event has started the ball rolling towards the 8th grade trip to Washington DC in April of 2011. A huge thank you to all and we hope to see you at the Mother/Son dance in February. |
