| GSLS Students Raise $2,734 for American Heart Association |
Jump Rope for Heart by Dan White |
| GSLS K-7 students raised $2,734 between the Jump Rope & Hoops for Heart program this year. We also received a special letter to Joseph Bailey recognizing his outstanding efforts as the top fundraiser for the school! I will get that letter to him and personally congratulate him for his great achievement.
The success of this program could not have happened without the excellent leadership of Kathy Damato! She provides outstanding assistance to all of us with these kinds of special programs and is able to recruit other Parent Volunteers to participate. We owe her and the other Parent Volunteers much appreciation for their time and energy. (We're fortunate to have Kathy's help again with the upcoming Presidential Fitness Event and she has recruited another great team of Parent Volunteers to help us.) I thought I would pass along this information as an "FYI" for another successful community service project the kids did so well. We are all proud of their efforts and enthusiasm. Thanks. |
| Lutheran Schools Week A Great Success |
| Good Shepherd Lutheran School Preschool and K-7 students raised $1,571.13 in our Coins for Christ offerings during Lutheran Schools Week.
The money collected will be sent to the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission School in Rock Pt., Arizona.
|
| This is an outstanding accomplishment and another great example of GSLS students and families generosity and apirit of community. |
