A Few of Our Favourite Things

We have compiled a list of our "Staff Picks" this year to share with you.  If you are struggling with what to get for a gift this year, check it out, it might help you choose something just right!  Still stumped? We sell Gift Certificates and you can register someone for a wine tasting class too.  We also have lots of colourful gift baskets to choose from in the store, or we can custom make one for you.

Gadgets & Gizmos

Lots of new items!  Modern design table top wine racks, whisky glasses and brandy snifters, wine glass charms, decanter and glass dryers, puzzles, Vinturi aerators for both wine and the new one for spirits.  The Corkcicle - newest way to chill wine.  Plus flasks, Wine Journals, funnels, corkscrews, decorative bottle stoppers, Wine Wipes, cork cages, boxes, bags and even "The Big Swig" a wine glass that holds a whole bottle of wine!

What's New....
Big Peat - Santa's Whiskey
Big Peat is a vatted malt -blended, pure, basically a mixture of Single Malts. Douglas Laing have taken some very interesting Islay Distilleries and mixed them together. Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen. Port Ellen! Very difficult to get hold of, expensive, tasty.  Tasting notes Big Peat Santa

Agavero Tequila Liqueur    Yeah!  It's back!
Jose Cuervos Agavero is a liquer made from Reposados and Anejos which rested in North American oak barrels. Its blended with essences of the aromatic Damiana flower, which grows in the region of Jalisco. In Mexico the Damiana flower applies traditionally as aphrodisiac. Enjoy it pure, cooled or on the rocks with a piece of lime or orange.
Agua Diente A Columbian favourite.
Looks like Vodka, tastes better, means "Sizzling Fire Water"!
Pisa Liqueur - A delicious alternative to Amaretto, this 3 nut liqueur ( almonds, hazelnuts and pistachios) is smooth and not too sweet. Comes in a Leaning Bottle too!pisa

Poinsettia
"If you mean the demon drink that poisons the mind, pollutes the body, desecrates family life, and inflames sinners, then I'm against it.But if you mean the elixir of Christmas cheer, the shield against winter chill, the taxable potion that puts needed funds into public coffers to comfort little crippled children, then I'm for it. This is my position, and I will not compromise !"
