Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. It's January and what a start to the year! Record cold temperatures, record snow falls, endless shovelling. If your new year's resolutions included getting more exercise, well, shovelling is an exercise!
Grant and I took advantage of a quieter week at the store and visited Riviera Maya in Mexico where we caught up on some sun, sand, beach, rest, reading and of course a few Margaritas and Mojitos! On one of our daily beach walks, likely under the influence of too much sunshine and margaritas, we came across a site for our next location of Aligra Wine & Spirits. It needs a little work, but hey, so did this store!
Whaddaya think?
Our 3rd Annual Robbie Burns Night at the store was lots of fun! Bonnie, the Bagpiper entertained, our group of whisky tasters demolished the haggis, and the 8 whiskies and sang the best rendition of Auld Lang Syne I've ever heard!
It's only a few weeks until Valentine's Day.... so why not impress your sweetie with THE LARGEST BOTTLE OF FRENCH CHAMPAGNE IN EDMONTON! The Piper Heidsieck on the left is 15 litres! Smaller sizes available - 12 litres, 3 litres, 1.75 litre and 750 mls! |
