4th ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE - AUG 3, 4 & 5
(coincides with Lucy Days weekend) 
to support Youth Minsitry
We need your treasures of "stuff".
Contact the church office - 483-6405
to schedule dropping off your items to donate, or bring things to church with you on Sunday.
Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting and pricing before the days of the sale, and volunteers are also needed the days of the sale. Please don't wait to be asked to help, offer yourself as a spiritual gift to the Youth Ministry Program.

Young PEOPLE!! We need YOUR HELP. If you are a part of St. Luke's Youth Group, this is YOUR Fundraiser! We can use you and your parents on Thursday, August 2nd for help setting up from 5:30 - 9 pm. We also need your help to run the sale, August 3rd or 4th, 9 am to 5 pm; and August 5th 9 - 11:30 am. There will be a sign up sheet at Youth Group.
And remember to support this project by coming by to purchase some wonderful used items at really terrific prices. |

SAFE CHURCH TRAINING - AUG 11 | |
On Saturday, August 11, the Bishop Brent School offers Safe Church training at the Diocesan Center.
Safe Church training is mandated for all volunteers who work with children and youth, clergy, and lay employees.

St Susan Center Charity Golf Classic
Sunday, Aug 5 | | |
St. Susan Center 2nd Annual Charity Golf Classic will held August 5, 2012 at Chautauqua Golf Club on the Lake Course.
The format will be a four-person team scramble with a shotgun start at 1:00pm.
Registration will begin at 11:30am.
Hot dogs, snacks and beverages at multiple locations on the course.
A variety of delicious soups and sandwiches along with a dessert will be served at the conclusion of play. For your enjoyment, entertainment will be provided by Deuble and Vogan.

Chautauqua County Humane Society | |
Mark your Calendars for this coming fun event --
2012 Walk 4 Paws sponsored by the Chautauqua County Humane Society
will be held on October 20th
on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution.
Cindy Panebianco, board member of the Humane Society is putting together a walking team. All you have to do is collect donations and bring your dogs, kids, friends and family to the scenic walk.
There is a Halloween costume contest as well, so dress up your pet, and enjoy lunch also.
The team that raises the most money for the Chautauqua County Humane Society receives a ribbon and we'll proudly display that in the undercroft!
Does your pet feel lucky because they won the lottery for having the best family in the world? Do you want to help other doggies and kitties at the Chautauqua county Humane Society win the "forever home" lottery, too? Join us in WALK 4 PAWS on October 20th, an easy way for you to help out all of the animals in our area looking for new homes.

If you worked last year and would like to do the same - or something different, let us know how you're interested in helping.
If you did not help and would like to be involved this year, get in touch, we have many ways to prepare for the luncheon.
Donations appreciated: - if they exceed our needs they will be donated to local food pantries;
Rhubarb, grapes or other pie-making fruits
to donate now or when ripe;
(we realize that fruits will not be plentiful this year)We will freeze the fruits.
