Becoming a New Creation:

Discovering/Rediscovering the

Presence of God in your life.

This is the final opportunity to register and attend the parish retreat at Mt. St. Benedict Monastery in Erie, PA.   The retreat will last from 4 pm Friday, Sept 16th until 4 pm Saturday, Sept 17th, a full Sabbath day for spiritual refreshment.  This retreat is entitled "The Monastery of the Heart: An Invitation to a Meaningful Life." The total cost is $50, which includes room plus three meals.  A deposit of $20 is needed with your registration by Monday!

We are embarking on a series of spiritual retreats this year and hope that every adult member of the church will be able to attend at least one of these retreats. They will be fun, informative, and enriching. Most important, they will be time set aside from our busy lives just to focus on renewing our relationship with God in Christ.

CHURCH SCHOOL:

Please take a moment this week to complete and return the Church School Survey that was recently sent out by mail.  We're anxious to hear from you about our rotation church school program.  We'd also love to have new teaching assistants this fall!  Could you consider giving time to one or two rotations?  Just three weeks to fall in love with our kids. Please give it a try!
