Field Manual for Erosion & Sediment Control in Georgia.
Greetings!

KEEP UP WITH THE BIG NEWS!

As of October 7th, 2008, the EPA has concluded enforcement actions which will require polluters to spend an estimated $11 billion on pollution controls, clean-up and environmental projects - an all time record for the EPA.  "Today's action involved an Arizona land developer and a contractor who were charged with violations of the Clean Water Act for bulldozing, filling and diverting approximately 5 miles of the Santa Cruz River. This action contributes to the EPA's record-shattering enforcement results" said Granta Nakayama, assistant administrator for EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance.

Your "Georgia Erosion Certification Card"...When does it Expire?

The answer to this question is simple.....3-years after your initial certification.  Also, did you know that you can get re-certified up to 1-year in advance of your card expiration date without it causing your deadline to move forward.  That's good news!

Believe it or not, other answers to questions you may have are simple too, but depending on who you ask they can seem like a complicated moving target.

Before you ask just anyone about Georgia's erosion laws, permits, certification requirements, etc., you should first find out for yourself by learning what the law really says.  That's where the NPDES Training Institute can help! We work hard at untangling the web of complicated stormwater laws and permits.  We are known for "Training that Helps it all Make Sense!"

Our recertification courses offer "lots of stuff" that many other courses simply don't offer....so call us at 678-469-5120 or signup at www.erosiontraining.com to get to our GeoLOGIC training website.
