ACC 2008 Seattle and ASEE 2008 Pittsburgh offered visitors a lot to
see, hear and touch - here are few highlights:
- Quanser and partner company
The Mathworks hosted a
panel discussion that brought together leaders from industry and academia to weight in on what skills engineering graduates need.

- Cameron Fulford, Quanser's control systems and integration engineer, presented to ACC delegates a paper on
5DOF Maglev positioning stage.
- UK Professor Dr. Michael Grimble demonstrated the
LongPen, an industry -acclaimed control technology that mimics human handwriting.

- At ASEE, our partner company
National Instruments unveiled their new
ELVIS II.
- Quanser took the opportunity to introduce new
QNETs to aid in teaching fundamentals of motion control, biomedicalengineering and mechatronics.
- Quanser's haptics engineer Mahyar Fotoohi presented a paper on
Medical Robotics Laboratory.
