Greetings!

There are so many wonderful things happening in August...
People sitting at their favorite outdoor café, people watching, eating and chatting away.. Others may be hiking, beaching, traveling or sitting poolside on a warm summer weekend.

There are also many fresh foods to choose from for the month of August. Here is a list of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables you can find right now in your local markets;

Avocados, Basil, Bell Peppers, Beets, Blackberries, Boysenberries, Carrots, Chard, Chiles, Corn, Eggplant, Fennel, Figs, Garlic, Grapes, Green beans, Green onions, Okra, Onions, Peaches, Potatoes, Scallions, Shallots, Strawberries, Summer squash, Tomatillos, Tomatoes, Watermelon, and Zucchini.

A Fantastic way to enjoy these fresh delicious vegetables would be to grill them on your barbeque, and spiff it up with our new Apple Cider Spoke or Chipotle BBQ sauce, or my personal favorite, Gayle's Original!!! This will be a sure way to enhance the taste, and put a smile on everyone's faces.

Happy August.....
