The "Mother Road" starts in Chicago and we trace its entire length to sunny southern California. Travelers have the option of seeing all of the Mother Road or only a part of Route 66. We search for the heartbeat of America in places as diverse as the metropolis of Chicago; a barb-wire museum in McLean, Texas; Spanish colonial Santa Fe; and seaside Santa Monica, the proverbial "end of the road." This Adventure offers walks and sightseeing in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. This is one of the few "themed Adventures" we offer, and we believe it's a fascinating tale, one that bears sharing at least one more time.
How do I lock in my place on this Adventure?
If you are among the travelers who submitted an Early Bird deposit, your spot on the list is secure until December 18. Travelers who have submitted Early Bird deposits will be accepted in the order in which they submitted their deposit. After December 18, we will begin filling any open spots that have become available. A maximum of 30 travelers will be accepted on any one departure.
