The program offers two to three days in the Winnipeg area, with walks and sightseeing, then travels through the Manitoba wilderness by train with stops en route to Churchill, where we'll use Tundra Buggies® to interact with the largest bears on the planet!
HIGHLIGHTS
· The Forks - an ancient meeting place in modern-day Winnipeg at the confluence of the Red River and

Assiniboine River. It resumes its role as a meeting place today with markets, museums, and outdoor parks picturesquely placed along the river.
· Polar bears - massive Tundra Buggies®, set high off the ground, give unparalleled opportunities to witness polar bear activity up close on the snow-covered tundra near Churchill
· Dog sledding - a unique opportunity to experience transportation, Arctic style!
· Aurora Borealis - the famed phenomenon of the northern lights, curtains of phosphorescent-colored particles shimmering in the night sky like rainbow pixie dust. The Northern Lights are generally only seen in far northern latitudes and only at night, making our polar bear visit in Churchill a truly "golden" opportunity to see this spectacle!
