WOW! We just received exciting news from the M/V Polar Star, the Antarctica partner who is helping to present our first two Adventures on the 7th continent. The M/V Polar Star has just announced a rare price reduction offer that we can hardly believe! On top of that, the reduction is retroactive - will apply to both registered and new travelers!

The price reduction for the February 2010 Exploring Antarctica Adventure will be applied if we register only one more traveler. We are at 35 travelers on this Adventure and are accepting up to 40 travelers. Normally we close an Adventure at 30 travelers. Due to the extremely unique nature of this Adventure, however, and the strong likelihood that it will be several years, if ever, before we offer it again, we have extended this number to 40 travelers! Only 100 passengers will be aboard the M/V Polar Star, regardless of whether they are WAI travelers or not. Furthermore, the difference between the relatively limited confines of a motorcoach, and the spaciousness of a ship eliminates part of the justification for a 30-person limit.
 
The Adventure will be led by Dan Friesen and one other lucky team member from the WAI staff. In addition, we will be assisted by an able array of M/V Polar Star staff both onboard ship and ashore. If visiting the 7th continent is on your "bucket list", this is truly the time to take the plunge.
