New York City Enacts Lighting Law


Are you ready?
 
A bill recently passed by The New York City Council, requires that lighting systems in all buildings greater than 50,000 gross square feet be upgraded to comply with the new New York City Energy Conservation Code.  Int 0973-2009 requires that such work be completed before January 1, 2025, meaning that a lot of building owners will need to start thinking about upgrading the lighting of their buildings in the coming years.
