Spring Greetings from Frame Nation,

Well, our calendars are filling up. 2009 is off to a great start with activities for all interests, inside and out!
 
Frame Nation is no exception. A couple events have been extended and we have a couple new ones to share.
 
First off, we have extended our *FREE* bunny mat giveaway until the end of April. Stop by a pick up a mat with a mat opening the shape of a bunny sized for a 4 x 6 pic of your peeps! See the video for examples.
 
Also, extended till the end of April, our Green Framing Special - 20% all EcoCare moulding from Nurre Caxton. With these frames, it's easy to be green!

Framing design tips from @FrameNation on Twitter
  • Color or Neutral Mat? think of color matting as a room accent similar 2 a color pillow on a couch or bed.
  • Art storage tip - Rule of thumb: If the temp is comfortable 4 us humans (65-75 dgree 70% humidity) then its gr8 4 your Art too!
    • Always use UV 98% filtering glass 4 art on paper. Clear, NonGlare or Anit reflective but b sure it's UV
    • Mat width should grow as the art gets larger. ie: 8 x 10 image, Mat width 2" - 16 x 20 image Mat width 3"
    • When shadowboxing family heirlooms, try to include a pic of the person(s) involved. That way It tells a complete story.
