Greetings:
Our REALTOR® and Affiliate volunteers have been working long hours on programs and events for our members! I am pleased to report that their efforts are resulting in positive changes for the Board and we are excited about rolling out several new initiatives in education and REALTOR® Pride Recognition. Join us for our Semi-Annual Breakfast Meeting - which will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Metacomet Country Club in Riverside, RI. Bringing our Heroes Home will be a panel discussion moderated by Joseph McCarthy, our 2011 President-Elect. We will hear from Stephen Antoni, 2011 RIAR President; REALTOR® Becky Moniz, who successfully works with returning veterans and Margy Thurber of Rhode Island Housing who will discuss financing options available for veterans. You will also hear from Cathleen Panniccia, Director of Home Ownership at Rhode Island Housing, with updates on the Hardest Hit Program and other valuable loan products!
Our S.T.A.R. Gala - Striving to Achieve REALTOR® Gala - will be hosted by the Board at the Agawam Hunt Club on Thursday, April 28, 2011. Exceptional REALTOR® members will be recognized in areas of community service and innovative business practices!
